New e-garbage compressors at Souk Mubarakiya to cut obnoxious odors

‘Garbage containers don’t blend with cultural scene’

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 18: The garbage containers in Mubarakiya market will be replaced with advanced electric garbage compressors, which were designed using the latest technological systems, reports Annahar daily quoting Governor of the Capital Governorate Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. According to the governor, the above-mentioned garbage compressors have the ability to reduce emissions and odor, and they do not destroy the aesthetic view as they can be placed in closed areas to maintain the general appearance of the market.

During the visit, the officials discussed the needs of the market; particularly the replacement of the garbage containers because they are not suitable for the cultural scene.
