KUWAIT CITY, Dec 3: The Civil Service Commission has issued a circular outlining the procedures and deadlines for the annual performance evaluation of employees for the year 2025.
The circular, released by Assistant Undersecretary Salah Al-Saqabi, specifies the following directives:
First:
- Performance evaluations for employees must be completed before the end of January in cases where there is no supervisor above the immediate supervisor.
- If an employee has a supervisor above the immediate supervisor, the evaluation must be finalized no later than the first seven days of February.
Second:
All Commission employees are required to strictly adhere to the established deadlines for submitting leave requests, particularly applications for sick leave. Employees must also promptly provide the necessary supporting medical documentation for any sick leave taken.
Third:
No requests submitted by employees or relevant parties (whether through the electronic portal or manually) that may affect evaluation criteria will be accepted if the process of assigning evaluation criteria has already begun in the second half of January. The immediate supervisor and the next-level supervisor are responsible for monitoring and enforcing this rule.
The Commission stressed to both the immediate supervisor and the next-level supervisor the importance of complying with all procedural deadlines related to the annual performance evaluation of employees, in accordance with Civil Service Council Resolution No. 36 of 2006 and its subsequent amendments.
Fourth:
All relevant departments and authorities within the Civil Service Commission are required to fully comply with the directives outlined in this circular.
