LOS ANGELES, Oct 21, (Agencies): Janelle Monae’s performance had an unexpected effect, bringing together recently single individuals like Lupita Nyong’o and Joshua Jackson. The two were seen enjoying themselves at a Monae concert held at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California.

Lupita Nyong’o and Joshua Jackson appeared to be having a great time, seated next to each other in casual attire for the event. They arrived together and remained side by side throughout the entire show. Nyong’o even introduced Jackson to her friends who came over to say hello.

Although the exact nature of their relationship remains uncertain, sources suggest that they were part of a group of around nine to ten people. Given their long-standing friendship, it’s not surprising that there were no public displays of affection between them.

This outing occurred shortly after Jodie Turner-Smith filed for divorce from Joshua Jackson, ending their three-year marriage. Citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause, Turner-Smith listed the date of separation as Sept 13 and is seeking joint custody of their 3-year-old daughter, Juno Rose Diana Jackson.

On the other hand, Lupita Nyong’o’s night out with Joshua Jackson took place just a day before she revealed on social media that she was going through a breakup with Selema Masekela, a 52-year-old TV host, with whom she had gone public back in December.
