New Abdali Health Center opening this month

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 3: The Director of the Jahra Health District, Dr. Jamal Al-Duaij announced the opening of the new “Ali Muhammad Thunayan Al-Ghanim Center in Abdali this month.

Al-Duaij said in a statement to Al-Jarida that the center includes a number of different departments and specializations, such as the dental department, minor accidents, medical observation, medical laboratories, pharmacy, and other medical departments.

He added that the coming period will witness an acceleration in the completion and provision of qualitative and distinguished services at the center, including the automated system.

Dr Al-Duaij said he personally inspected the construction work at the new Center, and also inspected the ongoing work at the current Abdali Health Center, inspected the pharmacy and nursing departments, spoke to the patients to find out their needs and suggestions, and supervised the treatment of some patients.

He stressed that all necessary medicines must be made available to meet the needs of patients and visitors to the center around the clock throughout the year, while at the same time praising the directives and efforts of the Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadi, and the acting Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi in following up and facilitating the procedures for opening the new center. The director of the Jahra Health District urged all workers at the center to carry out their duties to the fullest extent to meet the needs of patients and visitors.
