KUWAIT CITY, July 12: The Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) published an awareness message on its official accounts containing a set of preventive guidelines aimed at protecting children from drowning accidents. It urged parents to follow these measures to ensure their children’s safety. KFF emphasized that prevention begins with never leaving children unattended near the sea, swimming pools, or other bodies of water, stressing the importance of continuous and direct supervision while children are swimming. It also highlighted the importance of teaching children basic swimming skills at an early age, noting that this is an important factor in improving water safety. KFF further advised ensuring that children wear life jackets when participating in water activities or when in designated swimming areas.
