In a press statement, the ministry disclosed the suspects provide shelter for the absconding household workers and then offer them to other sponsors for exorbitant fees.

The arrest came after the department received information on the illegal activities of the Asians. The ministry has reiterated its call for Kuwaitis and expatriates to deal only with authorized domestic labor offices in order to avoid legal problems.
