Nepali running illegal calls centre held – GCC woman lured for sex

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 29: The Farwaniya police have arrested an unidentified Nepali for selling overseas calls for a throwaway price, reports Al-Anba daily.
The daily added, the man was initially arrested for attempting to escape from police for not carrying a Civil ID.
When police chased him, he took shelter in one of the buildings where he lives and police discovered he was operating his business from there.
Meanwhile, a young woman from an unidentified GCC country has filed a complaint with the Qairawan Police Station accusing two youths of luring her to have ‘fun’ with them, reports Al-Anba daily.
Police are looking for the suspects based on the description provided by the complainant.
In another development, police are looking for unidentified persons for stealing cell phones from a shop in Sulaibiya, reports Al-Anba daily.
The Egyptian salesman who tried in vain to prevent the suspects from escaping was reportedly stabbed in the hand several times.
The Egyptian has been admitted to a hospital with deep cut on his hand.
And, fire broke out in a flat on the second floor of a ten-storied residential building in Hawally area. No injuries were reported.
According to sources, when the Control Room of Kuwait Fire Service Directorate received information about the flat on fire, firefighters rushed to the location and extinguished the fire within a short time after evacuating all the tenants from the building. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
