KUWAIT CITY, Nov 16: The Environment Public Authority (EPA) has issued a violation notice to the owner of a licensed animal enclosure on Al-Mangaf Beach following reports of several dead marine animals found at the site.

In a statement shared on its X platform, the EPA said that a specialized inspection team visited the enclosure after receiving a complaint. The team confirmed that although the enclosure was officially licensed, the owner had failed to comply with regulations governing the management and care of animals, which prohibit leaving wildlife unattended, ultimately leading to the animals’ deaths.

The EPA added that the violation notice was issued under Article 100 of the Environmental Protection Law. The Authority stressed that it will continue coordinating with relevant agencies to strengthen oversight of licensed enclosures and ensure that owners strictly adhere to all applicable laws and executive regulations.
