The Capital Governorate Court recorded the highest number of cases received for scrutiny with 4,720, followed by Hawally with 1,100, Farwaniya with 1,028, Jahra with 513, and Ahmadi and Mubarak Al-Kabeer with 185 each. In the Auditing and Review Section, the total number of cases received from the Cases Examination Section was 5,758 and 6,518 cases were reviewed. The Capital Governorate Court handled the largest number of review cases with 2,545, followed by Farwaniya with 1,659, Ahmadi and Mubarak Al-Kabeer with 993 each, Hawally with 800 and Jahra with 521. Data showed that the Claims Department issued 1,825 fee assessment orders. Farwaniya Governorate Court recorded the highest with 695, followed by the Capital with 649, Hawally with 320, Ahmadi and Mubarak Al-Kabeer with 123 each, and Jahra with 38.
The Follow Up and Execution of Orders Department recorded 2,702 procedures for submitting requests to seize a debtor’s assets, 883 procedures for receiving orders from the Claims Department, 531 procedures for assessing notification requests, 183 requests to seize vehicles, 134 requests to impose travel ban, 86 requests to lift the seizure of a debtor’s assets held by a third party and 73 appeals. In the Fee Assessment Department, the total number of requests received reached 16,233. Farwaniya Governorate recorded the highest at 37.2 percent, followed by the Capital at 26.5 percent, Ahmadi and Mubarak Al-Kabeer at 12.3 percent each, Jahra at 10.9 percent, Hawally at 9.7 percent, and Kuwait Lawyers Association at 3.5 percent.
