KUWAIT CITY, Jun 15: Following the tragic fire in Mangaf that resulted in the manslaughter of 49 expatriate workers residing in NBTC Group's Camp No. 4, Nasser Mohammed Al-Badah and Partner General Trading and Contracting Company issued a heartfelt statement. The company extends its deepest condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and injured. In response to the devastating accident, NBTC Group is providing immediate financial support to all affected families, underscoring its commitment to social and humanitarian responsibility.

With hearts that believe in Allah’s will and destiny and are filled with pain and sorrow, Nasser Mohammed Al-Baddah & Partner General Trading & Contracting Company extends its deepest condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims and the afflicted in the tragic incident resulting from the fire that broke out in one of the company’s workers' accommodations in the Al-Mangaf area in Kuwait, which resulted in the death of many of them, whom we consider to be martyrs. The company expresses its sincere sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims. This is indeed a great tragedy, and the feelings of sorrow and loss cannot be described.

The company’s management extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Government of the State of Kuwait and its esteemed institutions, led by His Highness the Amir of the country, Sheikh/ Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and to all the concerned state agencies for their well-known efforts and prompt actions to take critical measures to handle the situation. We affirm our commitment to all the decisions and directives issued to ensure accountability for what led to this tragic incident.

We continue to stay in close contact with the families of the deceased and injured. The company is also working in coordination with the Ministry of Health and medical teams to ensure the best possible treatment for the injured until they fully recover.

We also announce that immediate support will be provided to all the families of the victims and the affected, stemming from our social and humanitarian responsibility, and our belief in the necessity of assisting those affected in such difficult times. As we have always been one family and one team, we stand united in this time of crisis.

We pray to the Almighty to protect Kuwait and shield it from all harm and to grant the families of the victims patience and solace, and we wish the injured a speedy recovery.
