KUWAIT CITY, Aug 30: Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi issued Ministerial Decree No. 301/2026, amending certain regulations concerning the standardization of official and professional attire in the public and private sectors, as stipulated in Ministerial Decree No. 70/2026 and Ministerial Decree No. 198/2026, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The decree was published in the official gazette, “Kuwait Al-Youm,” on Sunday.

The decree stipulates the following:
Article 1 - The provisions of this decree shall apply to all physicians, dentists, nurses, midwives, pharmacists, and technicians in the allied health professions.

Article 2 - The table in Article 5 of Ministerial Decree No. 198/2026 regarding the regulations for clinical scrubs is amended to read as follows:
■ Medical professions (physicians and dentists): Dark navy blue.
■ Supervisory staff members from the nursing and midwifery professions: Navy blue.
■ Nursing and midwifery staff: Royal blue or white.
■ Pharmacy practitioners: Gray.
■ Technicians in allied health professions: Olive green.

Article 3 - This decision shall be communicated to all concerned parties for implementation and shall be effective from the date of its issuance. It shall be published in the official gazette
