‘She was too naughty, broke valuables’; mother admits kill

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 19: General Department of Criminal Investigation finally solved the puzzle of a crime committed over 22 months ago on the murder of a five-year old Kuwaiti girl.

The case file indicates the mother of the deceased girl called the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior and reported that her daughter had slumped while taking a shower inside the bathroom of their family house located in Saad Al-Abdullah City.  The girl was rushed to Jahra Hospital where she succumbed to injuries apparently sustained through beating.

In the meantime, detectives from the Criminal Investigation Department collected adequate proofs and confronted the 31-year old mother with the Forensic report, and she admitted perpetrating the crime. She confessed killing the daughter because she was too naughty and used to break her collectibles.

She was referred to the Public Prosecution and charged with premeditated murder. It is worthy of note the case was closely followed up by the Assistant Undersecretary for Criminal Security Affairs Major General Khalid Al-Dein and Director General of Criminal Investigation Department Major General Muhammad Al-Sharhan.
