Nationality of seven Kuwaitis withdrawn

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 23: The Cabinet issued a decision to revoke Kuwaiti citizenship from seven individuals, as well as from anyone who acquired it based on dependency, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The decision was issued under Article 21-bis, Clause A of Amiri Decree No. 15/1959 regarding Kuwaiti nationality and its amendments. Meanwhile , the Ministry of Interior launched a new online service through the Sahel app that enables users to inquire about citizenship revocation under Article 5, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

In a video posted on its Sahel platform account, the ministry explained that the process begins by logging into the Sahel app, selecting the “Tawasul” service, choosing “Submit a New Request,” selecting “Ministry of Interior - Article 5 Requests,” specifying the request type, filling in the required information, and submitting it.
