National Security Concerns: Kuwaiti Hacker’s Pentagon Data Breach

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 3: The Criminal Court adjourned to Monday next week the case filed against a Kuwaiti hacker, who hacked into the website of the US Department of Defense and the Pentagon, and accessed sensitive weapons sites. It is noteworthy that the accused, who is 28 years old, is of Kuwaiti nationality.

He was able to hack the US Department of Defense website and access sensitive weapons sites, in a move that endangered Kuwait’s relationship with an ally and also endangered Kuwaiti national security. The State Security Department had referred the accused to the Public Prosecution for investigation after he was suspected of hacking the US Department of Defense website.
