National Guard Downs Six Drones in 24 Hours, Forces on High Alert
Kuwait National Guard releases servicemen serving disciplinary sentences for Eid Al-Adha.

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 28: The National Guard has intercepted and destroyed six unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) within areas secured by its duty forces over the past 24 hours, according to an official statement.

Brigadier General Dr. Jadaan Fadel, spokesperson for the National Guard, said the successful interceptions were part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security, safeguard vital installations, and counter potential threats.

He urged the public to strictly follow safety and security guidelines issued by the relevant authorities.

The spokesperson added that National Guard units, in coordination with the army, police, and the General Fire Force, remain on high alert and operational readiness. He emphasized that security forces are fully prepared to confront any threats targeting national stability, while ensuring the protection of the country’s sovereignty and critical infrastructure.
