Murder mystery not solved

KUWAIT CITY, April 8: The security authorities have set free the sister and the son of the Kuwaiti who was found stabbed to death in his home at Al-Oyoun, Jahra a few days ago, reports Al-Anba daily. After intensive interrogations, the security authorities came to the conclusion the pair was not involved in the crime.

According to security sources at least 15 people are suspects and have been subjected to interrogation. Some of them are said to have communicated with the victim on the day he was found murdered while others are known to have disagreements with the victim.

However, until now nothing has been proven about their involvement in the murder. In addition, the sources revealed that Jahra securitymen have still not found Sabah Al- Jandil who went missing in Subbiya desert area one month ago while he was with two of his friends. The lawyer of the victim’s family had presented information to the Public Prosecutor about suspicions of intentional murder.

A cell phone charger is said to have been the cause of fire in the car of Al- Anba journalist Saoud Al-Duaij, reports Al-Anba daily. According to Al-Duaij the fire destroyed the front seat in the car. He added, at the time of fire the car was in the parking lot of the building where he stays. He was informed of the fire by the caretaker of the building. No other damage has been reported.
