KUWAIT CITY, Feb 4: Kuwait Municipality has launched a field inspection campaign in Hawally Governorate to monitor licenses of shops and advertising permits, and to take regulatory action against violators. The campaign was carried out by inspection teams from the Audit and Municipal Services Monitoring Department, under the supervision of the Municipality’s Public Relations Department.

In a press release issued on Wednesday, the Municipality said the first phase of the campaign resulted in the issuance of 65 citations for violations related to shop operations and advertising regulations. Inspection teams toured several areas, identified violations, and took the necessary legal measures.

The Municipality added that the campaign will continue with further field inspections across all governorates, according to a schedule prepared by the Public Relations Department in coordination with the relevant authorities, as part of efforts to ensure compliance with municipal regulations in the coming weeks.
