Municipality shuts down some shops at Avenues Mall

KUWAIT CITY, July 5: Kuwait Municipality temporarily closed a number of shops at the Avenues Mall until the entry and exit points are organized.

A team from the Municipality visited the mall after receiving complaints about the gathering of a large number of people in various parts of the mall, including the crowds at the entrance of some shops.

The Municipality coordinated with the administration of the mall to implement the temporary closure order. At the same time, the Municipality asserted that public safety is a priority; so the entry gates will be closed for a short period in case the permitted number of visitors is breached
