KUWAIT CITY, Aug 16: The Director of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Municipality Branch, Falah Al-Shammari, announced that the municipality is working on shutting down 45 violating investment properties that are being commercially exploited in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate, as part of an inspection tour of the municipality teams in Sabah Al-Salem area. Al-Shammari said in a statement to reporters Monday that the campaign launched by the municipality two weeks ago in cooperation with the Kuwait Fire Force to detect violating stores in investment real estate continues on a daily basis in all governorates.

He added that the inspection teams today recorded 75 engineering warnings on some of the violating properties, and issued 35 violations reports on those various investment buildings. He stressed the importance of complying with the laws of the Kuwait Municipality and the Kuwait Fire Force to save people’s lives from the wrong storage of some highly flammable materials and so that a “block” is not registered on the property owner.

It is noteworthy that the Kuwait Municipality launched a campaign in cooperation with the Kuwait Fire Force to inspect the violating stores in the investment properties in the six different governorates and to ensure that their owners comply with the requirements of the Kuwait Fire Force.(KUNA)
