Municipality removes everything that distorts the aesthetic view

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 9: The Public Relations Department of the Kuwait Municipality said the Public Cleanliness and Road Works Department of the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate Municipality branch carried out field trips to raise the level of cleanliness, which resulted in the removal of 16 abandoned cars and boats, groceries, motorcycles, and scrap containers, reports Al-Rai daily.

The daily added, during the campaign the inspectors also placed stickers 191 abandoned cars, boats, mobile groceries, and commercial containers in preparation for their removal after the lapse of the specified time frame, in addition to the replacement of 17 old containers.

In this context, the Director of the Public Cleanliness and Road Works Department in the governorate’s municipality branch, Fahd Al-Qarifa, explained that the goal of the intensive field tours is to monitor violators and take all legal measures against them.

He pointed out the team pays great attention to raising the level of cleanliness in the areas that fall under its responsibility, as well as removing everything that distorts the aesthetic view of the governorate.
