KUWAIT CITY, Jan 8: The Public Relations Department of Kuwait Municipality has announced the commencement of cleaning campaigns in all governorates, conducted by field teams from the cleaning departments. These campaigns are set to continue throughout the month of January, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

In a statement released yesterday, the municipality highlighted that the Department of Public Cleanliness and Road Works in the Hawalli Governorate Municipality Branch conducted an inspection campaign on Sunday.

The campaign was aimed at assessing all public cleaning services within the areas under the Governorate Municipality Branch. This includes tasks related to monitoring, supervision, and follow-up on public cleanliness, overseeing the work of contractors and cleaning companies, and monitoring street vendors.

The initiative also involved ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and decisions pertaining to public cleanliness and road works within the governorate.

The goal is to enhance cleanliness levels and address issues obstructing roads or affecting the general appearance, such as the removal of abandoned cars, boats, and debris from public squares and streets.
