KUWAIT CITY, Feb 15: The Public Relations Department at the Kuwait Municipality announced the convening of a preliminary meeting for the bidding process of the “Beriah Salem” project, attended by Sector Head Maysaa Boushehri, engineers from relevant departments, and representatives of private sector companies interested in undertaking the project’s management and operation.

Boushehri said the meeting aimed to clarify the bidding terms and requirements, review the scope of work, and outline the operational mechanism to ensure a clear understanding among all competitors. She noted that the step reflects the Municipality’s commitment to transparency and equal opportunity in awarding contracts.

She added that the launch of the “Beriah Salem” project aligns with the Municipality’s strategy to professionally activate investment facilities by assigning management and operational responsibilities to specialized companies, with the goal of achieving high operational efficiency and sustainable performance.

The “Beriah Salem” project is designed as a platform offering rental spaces to support entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprise owners. The initiative is expected to stimulate the local economy, generate job opportunities, and strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the State of Kuwait.
