KUWAIT CITY, Nov 13: Kuwait Municipality announced Thursday that stalls in the seasonal goods market at Al-Rai Markets will be available for use by citizens for six months, in line with the Public Markets Bylaw.

Eligible citizens are required to submit applications along with supporting documents to the Food and Markets Control Department at the Audit and Municipal Services Monitoring Department, Capital Governorate branch in Shuwaikh. Applications will be accepted starting next Sunday, November 16, through November 20, during official working hours. Submissions made before or after this period will not be considered.

The municipality added that a public lottery will be conducted on the morning of December 8 at the Al-Rai Markets Municipality Center (Friday Market) to allocate the stalls. The lottery will be held in the presence of applicants or their legally authorized representatives.

The initiative aims to provide citizens with access to seasonal market stalls under regulated terms and conditions, supporting small-scale trade in the area.
