KUWAIT CITY, May 29: According to informed sources, there are indications that the members of the Municipal Council may use article 25 of the municipal law in response to the Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and the Minister of State for Communications Affairs Fahad Al-Shoula's rejection of the Municipal Council's decision in the previous session to not impose fees for setting up car shades in private and model housing, reports Al-Rai daily.

They indicated that article 25 stipulates that any decision that the minister opposes will be referred to the Council of Ministers for adjudication.

The sources revealed that the members are working hard to prevent the imposition of any fees on citizens for public services provided to them by the authorities.

They said the members expressed their hope that the Council of Ministers will reconsider such decisions that may burden the citizens.
