KUWAIT CITY, July 22: The Jahra Governorate Committee at the Municipal Council, chaired by Abdullah Al-Enezi, held its 11th meeting for the fourth session, during which it approved the request of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs to allocate a 300-square-meter plot in Jahra (plot number 93) as family housing for the imams and muezzins. On the other hand, the committee returned to the executive branch the proposal of Al-Enezi regarding the construction of two pedestrian bridges on Jahra Expressway (80), for coordination with the concerned authorities and to determine alternative locations.

One of these bridges will be opposite Qairawan and the other in Doha. The committee also endorsed the decision of the council regarding the Ministry Complex building in Jahra Governorate. Furthermore, the Farwaniya Governorate Committee, chaired by Khalid Al- Mutairi, held its seventh meeting for the fourth session, leading to the approval of the proposed numbering of plots in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Al-Ruqai. The committee rejected the proposal submitted by a citizen through the Tawasul platform on the construction of a tunnel connecting West Abdullah Al- Mubarak to Abdullah Al-Mubarak.
