KUWAIT CITY, Feb 3: The General Fire Force, in collaboration with several government agencies, carried out an inspection campaign in the South Khaitan area on Monday. The campaign, which involved the Ministry of Interior, Kuwait Municipality, the Public Environment Authority, the Public Authority for Manpower, and the Ministry of Electricity, resulted in the violation and administrative closure of multiple facilities that failed to meet the required safety and fire prevention standards.

In a press statement, the General Fire Force confirmed that the operation was conducted under the directives of the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah. The campaign was directly supervised by the Chief of the General Fire Force, Major General Talal Al-Roumi, and included the presence of the Acting Director General of Kuwait Municipality, Manal Al-Asfour.

The primary aim of the campaign was to monitor and identify buildings and facilities that did not comply with the required safety and fire prevention standards. The violations discovered during the inspection led to the closure of several establishments to ensure public safety and enforce adherence to fire safety regulations.
