KUWAIT CITY, July 20: Inspection tours by the Mubarakiya Inspection Center of the Public Authority for Food led to the issuance of 20 violations and the destruction of 1,275 spoiled eggs in Souq Mubarakiya.
Monitored violations included the sale of spoiled food, altering its natural properties in terms of color, shape, and smell, and selling food unfit for human consumption that contained worms and larvae. Additionally, there were instances of workers handling food without health certificates.
Other violations included employing workers without health certificates, failing to adhere to general hygiene rules and requirements during work, neglecting personal hygiene standards, and operating a food facility with an expired health license.
