Mubarak Al-Kabeer Crackdown: Unfit Food Seized, 8 Violations Recorded

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 25: A joint inspection campaign in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate uncovered eight violations at food establishments, with authorities also seizing and destroying 2.457 kilograms of food products deemed unfit for human consumption.

The campaign was conducted by the Inspection Department of the General Authority for Food and Nutrition in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior.

Inspectors visited 26 food establishments during the campaign and issued eight violation reports covering breaches of health and hygiene requirements, licensing regulations and health certificate requirements.

Authorities seized and destroyed the food products found unfit for human consumption and took the necessary measures against the violators.

The General Authority for Food and Nutrition said it will continue its inspection campaigns to protect consumer health and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
