KUWAIT CITY, Aug 23: The Ministry of Public Works recently opened the bidding for the supply, installation, operation and maintenance of surveillance cameras in its sites, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources. Sources said the deadline for submitting bids is on Sept 12, while the preliminary meeting to inquire about the bidding is scheduled for Aug 29 at the ministry’s head office.
Sources revealed the project was offered to local companies specialized in the abovementioned works and registered in the Central Agency for Public Tenders. On the other hand, statistics issued by the ministry showed that the asphalting of internal roads from Aug 10-17 in Abu Fatira, Sabah and Firdous health districts covered an area measuring 22,440 square meters.
