MPW completes maintenance & repair of internal roads in various areas

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 17: Ministry of Public Works has announced the completion of its road maintenance project on the internal roads of various areas within all six governorates, reports Aljarida daily.

According to reliable sources, the minister spread about  421,203 square meters of asphalt in 15 various areas during the period from August 22 to September 4.

They affirmed the ministry’s keenness to fulfill all technical requirements regarding the quality of the asphalt used on the roads by following up the technical teams of the Maintenance Engineering Sector, which is the party responsible for the maintenance and repair works and for spreading asphalt on the roads in residential areas.

The sources explained that the follow-up process is carried out during all stages of asphalt-application on the roads in order to ensure all conditions related to the improved mixture specified by the ministry in the contracts are adhered to by the contracting companies that implement maintenance contracts in all regions.

Asphalt was spread on a number of roads in Abdali, Saad Al-Abdullah, Andalous, Sabah Al-Nasser, Al-Raqi, Shuwaikh, Rawdah, Rumaithiya, Siddiq, Shuhada, Sabah Al-Salem, Qusour, Qurain Block 5, Sabahiya, and South Sabahiya areas.
