Motorists Advised as Riyadh Road Lanes Close for One Month

KUWAIT CITY, July 11: The General Directorate of Traffic has announced temporary road closures on King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Road (Riyadh Road) as part of ongoing works.

Beginning Sunday, July 12, the right and middle lanes on Riyadh Road will be closed from the Third Ring Road exit opposite Khalidiya heading toward Kuwait International Airport, extending to the exit leading to the Fourth Ring Road.

The traffic department also said the entrance and exit of Salim bin Ali Street connecting to Riyadh Road in the Khalidiya area will be closed during the same period.

The closures will remain in effect until Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026. Motorists have been advised to use alternative routes and follow traffic signs to avoid congestion.
