KUWAIT CITY, Dec 20: The General Traffic Department has announced the complete closure of Al-Sour Street, beginning at the intersection near the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre and extending towards the Sheraton Roundabout on Arabian Gulf Street.
According to the department, the road will be closed from Friday through Sunday to allow authorities to carry out essential road maintenance and repair works aimed at improving traffic safety and infrastructure quality.
Motorists have been advised to plan their journeys, use alternative routes where possible, and follow the instructions of traffic personnel and road signage placed in the area. The General Traffic Department apologised for any inconvenience caused and emphasised that the temporary closure is necessary to ensure smoother and safer traffic flow once the maintenance work is completed.
