MOSCOW, Jan 25,  (Xinhua): Moscow on Saturday condemned Kiev for attacking an ambulance and killing three medics in the early hours of Saturday. An ambulance with its medical crew en route to a critically ill patient came under attack in the Kherson region on early Saturday. Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said in a statement that the vehicle was clearly marked as medical transport.

However, it was targeted by a Ukrainian drone. "Three medical workers on board the ambulance were killed. It must be stressed that attacks on civilian medical transport are prohibited under international law," she said. "We firmly condemn the direct attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on civilians," Zakharova added. "We demand that international relevant bodies issue an objective and impartial assessment."
