More rain expected

KUWAIT CITY, May 18: The Met department has forecast summer rains in Kuwait from Thursday to Saturday, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily, quoting Met officials said, this unusual weather condition brings relief from the scorching summer temperatures and gives an opportunity for the public to enjoy a temporary respite.

According to meteorological reports, the anticipated rainfall is a result of a weather system approaching the region, bringing clouds and a higher chance of precipitation. These summer showers are not a common occurrence in Kuwait, where arid desert conditions prevail throughout most of the year.
