KUWAIT, May 3 (KUNA) — Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior (MoI) said Sunday it transferred a citizen to mandatory quarantine at Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital because she violated the home quarantine, and that she would sued once she completed the isolation period.
The female citizen, recently repatriated and wore Shlonik bracelet which monitors home quarantine, was photographed while shopping at a cooperative society in violation of the quarantine restrictions, the MoI said in a statement.
MoI’s personnel then transferred the citizen to the mandatory quarantine after violating her home quarantine regulations, it added.
Citizens being repatriated are obliged to wear bracelets to make sure they abide by the mandatory or home quarantine regulations.
The MoI said the famel citizen would be referred to legal authorities once her quarantine completed.
