KUWAIT CITY, Feb 14: The Ministry of Interior announced that a live-fire exercise will be conducted at the maritime site “BRAVO” between Awah Island and Kubbar Island from February 15 to 17, 2026.

In a statement, the ministry said the exercise will be carried out by the General Directorate of the Police Aviation Wing at an altitude of 3,000 feet, between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm each day.

The designated exercise area is bounded by the following coordinates: 29°20.0 N – 048°26.0 E 29°20.0 N – 048°37.4 E 29°10.0 N – 048°26.0 E 29°10.9 N – 048°37.4 E

The ministry explained that the drill forms part of approved training programs aimed at enhancing readiness and operational efficiency, and strengthening the capabilities of aircrews to perform their duties in line with the highest safety and security standards.

The Ministry of Interior urged seafarers, fishermen and boat owners to avoid the specified area during the exercise timings and to comply with issued instructions to ensure public safety.
