MOI: Residents of isolated area are allowed to move within their areas

KUWAIT CITY, May 31: A security source stated that the residents of the isolated areas are allowed to leave their homes between 6am and 6pm, within the isolated area only but are not allowed to go out of their area even with curfew permit.

The source stated the instructions issued to the security men are clear and explicit, and it stipulates that the people living in isolated areas should be allowed to leave during the curfew relaxing period of 12 hrs while adhering to the health requirements for wearing the mask and the social distancing in order to safeguard their health.

The source added that the decision comes within the framework of facilitating the residents of those areas to go to cooperative societies and shopping centers to for their food and marketing needs. Taking health precaution is an utmost responsibility of the residents failing to comply will be referred to the competent authorities.
