KUWAIT CITY, Feb 11: The Ministry of Interior on Wednesday dismissed as “groundless” social media reports about a shooting attack on Hardee’s restaurant Rumaithiya branch in Hawally Governorate last night. In a press statement, the Ministry’s Public Relations and Security Media Department stressed the reports are bare of reality.
It clarified that what happened was the breaking down of the restaurant’s glass facade. The glass was shattered without any human intervention and the branch’s administration did not want to report the incident. Nobody was hurt in the incident, it noted.
