MOI denies social media news over fraction of control bridge

KUWAIT, Nov 14 (KUNA) — The Interior Ministry on Wednesday denied social media news claiming there was a fraction in the control bridge linking King Fahd highway on the fifth ring road towards Surra area, saying such news were ‘baseless and lack credibility.’

The ministry said in a press statement by the General Directorate of Relations and Security Media that traffic on the bridge is sound and there is no traffic congestion.

It called on all citizens and residents to check accuracy of what is published or broadcast on social networking sites and to receive news only from their official sources.
