KUWAIT CITY, Sept 22: Mohamed Naser Al Sayer & Sons Company inaugurated the Lexus pavilion today at the Auto World Show 2026, held at the Kuwait International Fairground in Mishref. The inauguration was officiated by H.E. Kenichiro Mukai, Ambassador of Japan to Kuwait, and Mr. Mohamed Naser Al-Sayer, Board Member, and Salah Mohammad, General Manager, Marketing, in the presence of senior Lexus and ALSAYER executives together with members of the local and regional media. The occasion marked the official unveiling of Lexus's presence at this year's show, anchored by the Kuwait debut of two hero models built around the brand's Lexus Electrified vision: the all-new Lexus ES and the fully electric Lexus RZ 500e.

The All-New Lexus ES: Kuwait Debut of a New Chapter in Electrified Luxury

Centre stage at the pavilion is the all-new Lexus ES, marking the eighth generation of a model that has anchored the brand since 1989 and long been recognized for its exceptional quietness, ride comfort, and premium quality. Developed under the concept of "Experience Elegant and Electrified Sedan," the new ES advances electrification, driving performance, design, interior space, safety, and technology for a new era of luxury mobility, while preserving the relaxed, refined character that has defined the model across three decades.

The Kuwait debut of the all-new ES marks an important evolution of Lexus Electrified in the region. Customers can choose from Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) powertrains or, for the first time in the regional ES lineup, a Battery Electric Vehicle in the ES 500e — reflecting Lexus's multi-pathway approach to offering different electrified solutions for different customer needs. The ES 350h brings enhanced power performance and the availability of all-wheel drive, while the fully electric ES 500e combines a large, low-mounted battery with all-wheel drive and Lexus's DIRECT4 force control system for confident, composed handling.

Both powertrains are built on a comprehensively redesigned TNGA GA-K platform, developed to accommodate HEV and BEV alike, with increased structural rigidity for stability under steering, acceleration, and deceleration. For the first time in an ES, a multi-link rear suspension and variable-ratio steering rack support a smoother ride and confident handling at every speed, while models equipped with Adaptive Variable Suspension add a further layer of refined comfort.

Design and interior space evolve in step with performance. Guided by the theme "Clean Tech x Elegance," the exterior pairs a low nose and horizontally oriented fenders with the new-generation Lexus Spindle Body, the new Twin L-Signature Lamp, and a rear light signature integrated with an illuminated LEXUS logo. Inside, the new ES is 165 mm longer with an 80-mm-longer wheelbase than its predecessor, translating into greater interior space, enhanced rear-seat comfort, and improved outward visibility. Occupants can personalize the cabin through 14 preset illumination themes and 50 custom colors, while available Modern Bamboo and Micro Geometric interior ornamentation add warmth and texture.

Technology is integrated with the same emphasis on simplicity. A new 14-inch Display Audio system features a flat, clean design with rich graphics, and the all-new ES introduces the world's first Responsive Hidden Switches, seamlessly integrating physical controls into the steering wheel and instrument panel. Safety has also advanced through Lexus Safety System+ 4, with an expanded Pre-Collision System, a Radar Cruise Control that reads surrounding traffic earlier, and a newly developed 3D View within the Panoramic View Monitor — the first application of this feature in a Lexus.

RZ 500e and the Next Chapter of Lexus VOLT POWER

Alongside the ES, the pavilion showcases the fully electric Lexus RZ 500e, the first Lexus SUV Battery Electric Vehicle introduced in Kuwait and a significant milestone in the brand's electrification journey. Purpose-built from the ground up as a dedicated BEV, the RZ 500e carries forward the next chapter of Lexus VOLT POWER, the brand's ongoing commitment to carbon neutrality through advanced electrification.

The 2026 Lexus RZ 500e delivers up to 375 horsepower through an enhanced dual-motor DIRECT4 all-wheel-drive system, offering exceptional stability and precise control across a wide range of driving conditions. A new 77 kWh battery extends driving range and efficiency, supported by faster charging and battery pre-conditioning technology, while, for the first time, Lexus introduces Steer-by-Wire technology on selected grades and in certain markets for quicker steering response and a more engaging connection between driver and road. Inside, a fully featured 14-inch digital display and Lexus Safety System+ combine a modern, intuitive cabin with proactive protection and driver confidence.
