KUWAIT CITY, Sept 29: The Ministry of Health has successfully conducted its inaugural training course for Kuwaiti Board doctors specializing in otorhinolaryngology (ENT), alongside participants from various other medical specialties. This course aimed to enhance understanding of the scientific research process and provided practical training in the essential skills required for effective research.
Dr. Ahmed Al Rashidi, who serves as the Head of the Otorhinolaryngology Department at Al Farwaniya Hospital and as the Director of the Otorhinolaryngology Program at the Ministry, highlighted that the course is designed to familiarize participants with the necessary requirements and techniques for publishing scientific research on both local and international platforms.
Dr. Abdul Mohsen Al-Turki, President of the College of Otorhinolaryngology, underscored the importance of scientific research in advancing medical services and keeping pace with global medical developments.
Moreover, Dr. Tamim Al-Ali, head of scientific research at the Kuwaiti Board of Otorhinolaryngology, remarked that the commitment of Kuwaiti Board doctors to grasp the fundamentals of scientific research, coupled with their efforts to further its development, signifies a dedication to enhancing the quality of medical services in the future. This progress aims to elevate Kuwait's position in the medical field on an international scale.
