MoH bans medicines valid for less than 30 days

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 8, (KUNA): Minister of Health Sheikh Dr Basel Al-Sabah announced on Monday banning all medicines, dietary and health supplements with less than 30 days’ validity. Kuwait’s Ministry of Health mentioned in a press release that this decision was intended to keep citizens healthy and spare them any health risks.

The Ministry said as to chronic diseases, medicines should have expiry date of at least 30 days – from the first to the last dose. The Ministry mentioned that Dr Basel announced also that pharmacists are prohibited from selling any un-prescribed medicines that contain Gabapenti.
