KUWAIT CITY, Sept 3: The Ministry of Health decided to allow its employees to go on leave in accordance with certain regulations after the Civil Service Commission (CSC) refused to replace leave days with cash incentives for those who cannot go on vacation as they are involved in the fight against corona, reports Al-Jarida daily. The ministry allowed its employees to take periodic leaves until the end of October, provided the leave period does not exceed 14 days and the number of those taking vacation does not exceed 25 percent of the total workforce to ensure the workflow and services provided to the public are not affected.

On the other hand, the daily obtained information that the ministry already transferred the August salaries of workers under the ‘wage for work’ item to the Central Bank of Kuwait.
