MoE will hire teachers locally for public schools

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 11: The Public Education Sector in the Ministry of Education will hire teachers locally to cover the needs of public schools, reports Al-Anba daily quoting Director of Human Resources Department Saud Al-Juwaiser. Al-Juwaiser revealed the required fields of specialization of applicants include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Arabic, English, French, Music and Physical Education.

Meanwhile, sources said the ministry has waived the condition of experience in all fields for GCC nationals and Bedouns born to Kuwait mothers or those married to Kuwaitis; as well as expatriates specialized in Music and Physical Education. Also, the required number of years of experience has been reduced to two years in all fields for non-Kuwaiti education graduates and three years for graduates of other courses, sources added.

Meanwhile, Civil Service Commission (CSC) has announced the names of new appointees in the government authorities, reports Al-Qabas dialy. The include 1,401 male and female citizens who applied to CSC to work in the ministries and other state institutions.
