MoE to refer 85 Kuwaitis and 35 expats for retirement

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 28: The Ministry of Education will refer 120 educators – 85 Kuwaitis and 35 expatriates – for retirement as they have been in service for more than 34 years and most of them are principals of schools, in addition to one female director of a central department, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources.

Sources said the number of educators included in the retirement list will most likely decrease because some have submitted their resignation before the issuance of the decision to refer them for retirement. Sources added the decision is expected to take effect towards the end of the current school year.
