Dept directs schools to celebrate Amir’s successful medical trip

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 14: Ministry of Education has suspended the appointment of Kuwaiti Physical Education specialist teachers who graduated from universities in Egypt and Jordan, reports Al-Anba daily.

The daily quoting reliable sources said concerned graduates submitted their certificates to the ministry but the latter decided to appoint them as administrative employees, indicating teaching will be reserved for the graduates of College of Education and the College of Basic Education.

Sources pointed out that the graduates rejected the ministry’s decision and forwarded their grievances to the Department of Public Education. They added that Public Education Department is compiling a list of names of those graduates, and it will be referred to the Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr Hamed Al-Azmi to decide their situation.

Meanwhile, Ministry of Education has issued directives to public, private and model schools to celebrate the successful medical trip of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al- Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his scheduled return, said sources. Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Activities and Development Faisal Al-Meqaised issued a circular to the educational zones, Private Education Directorate, Religious Education Directorate and special education schools in this regard.
