MoE receives about 6,000 ‘complaints’ from workers

KUWAIT CITY, March 11: The Ministry of Education is examining approximately 6,000 grievances reports which have been submitted by teachers and administrators from various sectors who have not received ‘excellent work’ rewards, reports Al-Anba daily. The reports have been submitted through the grievance committee headed by the Undersecretary for Administrative Affairs in the Ministry, Raja’a Bouarki. In this context, informed educational sources told the daily the committee firstly reviews grievances and scrutinizes them, noting that a large number was rejected because of the number of working days which should a minimum of 180 working days, according to the instructions of the Civil Service Commission, especially for administrators as for the teachers, the number of working days is calculated according to each stage separately, according to the rules and regulations in force.
