MoCI’s conditions for leasing govt property

KUWAIT CITY, March 13: The Ministry of Communications has issued a decision regarding the conditions and controls related to the rental value of the leased spaces inside and outside the ministry buildings and vacant spaces, reports Al-Qabas daily. The decision, a copy of which was obtained by the daily, prohibits the tenant from exploiting adjacent unlicensed spaces, subletting and/or using them as warehouses, and the presence of authorized employees at the Liberation Tower.

The decision indicates all the ministry’s buildings are prepared for rent, including offices, devices, cabins, towers, antennas and vacant lands inside and outside the buildings provide all required documents are intact. The decision says the Ministry of Communications leases out various spaces available inside and outside the ministry buildings and government institutions for companies wishing to rent these spaces in return for sums of money paid to the ministry on a monthly basis in accordance with the previous and subsequent laws and ministerial decisions that regulate the rental process.
