MOCI monitors 170 Coops and supermarkets to ensure smooth flow of food delivery

KUWAIT, May 10: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced the monitoring of 170 cooperative societies, supermarkets, groceries and pharmacies during its inspection tours and observing 58 branches of supplies to ensure the flow of sales and delivery of foodstuffs to their beneficiaries, and to determine the extent of its commitment and to maintain the stability of product prices. .

MOCI said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) today, Sunday, that its inspection teams’ rounds are continuing their work in light of the decisions in place regarding the relevant procedures to containf the spread of Corona virus .

Emergency center received 248 complaints via the hotline (135) and 15 complaints through the control centers, while the ration cards were issued and issued for 94 transactions.

MOCI stated to abide by the law because of the exceptional circumstance that the country is going through (KUNA)
