KUWAIT, April 22: - The Kuwaiti Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced today, Wednesday, issued 20 citations to commercial stores that did not adhere to the health precautionary laws in avoid to spread of coronavirus.


MOCI said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that its inspection teams monitored 350 cooperative societies, supermarkets, commercial stores and vegetable shops to determine the extent of their commitment and maintain the stability of product prices as well as the reopening of a commercial store.


Also the inspection teams monitored 77 catering branches to ensure the smooth flow of sales and delivery of foodstuffs to their beneficiaries.


The emergency center received 262 complaints via the hotline (135) and 28 complaints through the control centers, while the ration cards were renewed and issued for 249 transactions.(KUNA)
